However, this toy can sometimes be a gate way to unwanted behavioral problems in a dog. As those squeaks your dog loves so much are simulated sounds meant to be at similar frequency of an animal dying, they are fulfilling their predatory instinct to kill. This is why these toys can trigger obsessive, neurotic and even aggressive possessive behaviors.
