Making your own dog shampoo takes only a few minutes and it can be quite cost-effective. Your pooch will be clean and smelling fresh and you will save up some money by not buying expensive store-bought shampoos.
Dish Soap & Vinegar
If you have lavender-scented detergent, you can get quite a combo since it will repel fleas.
Vinegar, on the other hand, is an excellent addition to your shampoo as it has antibacterial and deodorant properties. The combination of vinegar and dish detergent will make your canine friend’s coat healthy as well as shiny.
Making Of & How To
In a spray bottle, combine 2 cups of warm water with 1/2 cup of white vinegar, add 1/4 cup of dish detergent. Shake the mixture until you see a lot of bubbles forming, then wait for the bubbles to recede.

First, wet your dog’s coat with warm water (you can also apply some baking soda paste to remove odor more efficiently), then spray your pooch with your DIY shampoo mixture. Spray it all over his body and use your fingers to work the shampoo all the way to the skin.
Make sure you don’t get the mixture into his eyes. Rinse your buddy using warm water and groom him if necessary.
